Mold prevention practices – Case #232

Problem: placement of master cartons on the floor and too close to the walls may cause them to absorb moisture. This can result in the appearance of mold on the shoes during the shipment time.

Impactiva solution: we suggested the factory to procure pallets to store the master cartons and other materials, and place them away from the walls. Also we advised them to fix wooden bars to the walls, so that even if they bring the pallets with cartons too close to the walls, they won’t be actually in contact with them. The factory agreed to implement the suggestions.
