Failed rework of off color leather – Case #200

Problem: a lot of cowhide crust leather was off color.

Impactiva solution: we rejected the lot and requested the tannery to rework it.

After the rework the lot was still off color, and moreover, it showed substantial color variation from one hide to another, making the lot completely inconsistent in terms of color uniformity. In view of this, we permanently rejected this lot and requested the tannery to make a new one.
